An opportunity for an experienced Commercial Director to join an industry leading FTSE 100 house-builder in their Eastern division. 

Our client has a reputation for delivering premium quality homes. Recent changes to the Senior Leadership team mean exciting growth plans for 2020 and thereon.

What will you be doing?

Follow best practices in leading a divisional team of QS’s, Buyers and a Commercial Manager (as well as other members of the wider commercial team) whilst setting out, implementing and managing the procurement and surveying functions within the business ensuring cost-effective delivery of premium construction projects.

You will ensure that divisional strategy is effectively communicated to the departments under your lead whilst also monitoring progression against targets, maximisation of revenue generation, contractual issues and contributing to the businesses operating profit.

Who are you?

• You will hold strong commercial experience gained in a similar role, ideally from a QS background.

• Proven experience of leading commercial teams within a leading house-builder

• An effective communicator and motivator and an ability to demonstrate a strong strategic approach to commercials
