You will be responsible for influencing and guiding the overarching development strategy for each project at the outset and once agreed be responsible for delivering the agreed outcomes. The Development Manager will have overall day-to-day responsibility and will be the main point of contact for Clients throughout the project. Working collaboratively, the Development Manager will be expected to coordinate the skills and resources of each function within the business, together with appointing and managing external consultants, to ensure that each development is optimised, coordinated and meets the overall strategy, legal, planning and client requirements.

The Development Management Department is responsible for leading and coordinating the successful delivery of each site from the point at which the land bid has been accepted by the Vendor, through to achieving a planning permission and the delivery of the project to the end Client at Practical Completion, with the final close and review of the project once the defects period has concluded.

Person Specification: You should be highly motivated individual and demonstrateProfessionalism, strategic thinking, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, exhibit assertiveness and self-motivation in achievement of objectives.

Have strong commercial acumen, motivated to enhance understanding and knowledge base in build to rent and within the wider development industry.

Able to critically assess and analyse information with excellent attention to detail.

An ability to prioritise and delegate, to ensure all aspects of the job are completed to a high standard and on time.
