This is a superb opportunity for an ambitious, driven and highly motivated Development Surveyor, to bring their high levels of energy and personality and passion for commercial and logistics led development, to an entrepreneurial, private equity backed environment who have a significant capital base for further acquisitions, and investment in future commercial opportunities.

Principal responsibility will be to support the senior management team ref all property related matters, together with the running of a large and varied commercial and industrial portfolio, and drive all current and future development and investment interests. The successful applicant will have responsibility for substantial resources and superb internal support.

Further duties and responsibilities will include:

·Marshall and control statutory obligations for the managed estate and ensuring compliance with lease covenants and clauses.

·Oversee the marketing and delivery of commercial and industrial units and projects, liaising with marketing and external third party and agents.

·Working in partnership with finance, to create, monitor and update development appraisals and financial models. This will also include cost control and construction cost management (outsourced or in-house).

·Working closely with contractors on design, tenders and procurement to carry out client handover, contract and purchase sales information packs and snagging/minor works.

·Working and instructing a full design team, in delivering all projects including planning.

If you are an ambitious Development Surveyor with proven experience of planning and delivering property and construction projects to agreed time and quality, dealing with all aspects of delivering a large project, this could be the new career opportunity you are looking for.

A strong knowledge and understanding of commercial & industrial contracts, leases and agreements, would also be helpful , alongside excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels.
